Software Processes Standardization Summit’ 14


Catalyic Consulting and Infotech have taken this leap forward and organized an event, on 17th of April’14, solely dedicated to the awareness and significance of deploying standardization processes that how they can help businesses in achieving productivity, efficiency and effectiveness to outperform their competitors. Software Processes Standardization Summit’14 was hosted by Catalyic Consulting and Infotech.

The event started off with the opening speech given by Mr. Farhan Mirza (CEO Catalyic Consulting) followed by Mr. Naseer Akhtar (CEO Infotech Group) shared his valuable views on the need of standardization. Mr. Salim Ghauri (CEO Netsol & Chairman P@sha) was the first guest speaker who briefed the participants about the standardization journey at Netsol Technologies. Mr. Humayun Sabir Director SED Telenor presented CMMI® case study on Telenor as how they successfully achieved CMMI® ML3 with Catalyic and what benefits they gave derived out of it.

Ms. Andaleeb Abbas CEO Franklin Covey – our next Guest Speaker shared her views on Standardization and how she took the initiative to get PTI ISO certified and persuaded the rest to join her team. Networking tea was served which gave a chance to all the attendees to interact with each other and share their views on the benefits of standardization. The session resumed and Mr. Ejaz Anwar (Infotech) presented a case study on Infotech.

The event continued with the Panel discussion session led by Moderator Mr. Umair Javed CEO TkXel, with Abdul Aziz (Lumensoft), Yaser Rizwan (Tkxel), Farahn Mirza (Catalyic Consulting) as the panel members. The participants had a valuable cross questioning with the panel members. At the end souvenirs was awarded to the guest speakers and panel discussion participants followed by the cake cutting ceremony on achieving 100 CMMI® Appraisals Mark by Farhan Mirza. After that the guests were open to enjoy a networking lunch accompanied by worthy goody bags for their support and facilitation as reminiscence of the remarkable event.
